Jeremy Hobson is a longtime public radio journalist and former host of NPR’s Here & Now and Marketplace Morning Report.

Last Fall, he created The Middle, a live call-in show focused on bringing the voices of the geographic, political, and philosophical middle into the national conversation.

It airs Thursdays at 9:00 p.m. on Connecticut Public Radio and is carried on hundreds of stations across the country.

At the June 3 event in Waterbury, Jeremy and his guests will discuss whether it’s possible to take the politics out of Climate Change.

He'll be joined by Gina McCarthy, the first ever White House National Climate Advisor and former EPA Administrator. You may remember her as Connecticut’s former commissioner of the state Department of Environmental Protection. Jeremy will also interview Ryan Hanrahan, Chief Meteorologist for NBC Connecticut.

The show will include audience questions, and a live musical performance from The Middle's own House DJ Tolliver. It’s a unique event and we hope to see you there!
