What Does the Economy Have to Do with You? More Than You Think!
Join us as we continue our Distinguished Professor Lecture Series featuring UConn professors engaging with the Greenwich community.
Dr. Natalia Smirnova, Associate Professor of Economics at UConn Stamford, will explore the persistence of women's "double shift" and discuss the polices that are proposed to mitigate this issue. This lecture will be thought-provoking.
Come learn from a nationally recognized educator and join the conversation with your fellow attendees—no exams required.
Dr. Smirnova earned her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Connecticut and has received numerous state and national teaching awards. Her career spans government, academia, and the nonprofit sector, and her research includes economic transitions in Russia and new approaches to economic education.
This LWV Greenwich program is made available to the Greenwich community free of charge. Before you register, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to show your support. Thank you!
