It will be a fun and interesting evening with friends and neighbors from the Greenwich community. Space is limited so please sign up early.
The Keynote Speaker is
Brigitte Dale, and she will speak on the importance of women's history and the legacy of the women's suffrage movement. Brigitte is an editor, historian, and author of
The Good Daughters, a historical fiction novel, a moving and vivid story of three suffragettes in London and the battle for equality. She graduated from Brown University and earned her master's degree in women's history at Yale University. A book editor by day and an author by night (or early morning), Brigitte lives in Connecticut.
The Good Daughters is her first novel.
Our evening is an acknowledgement of the hard work of so many individuals. This year we are presenting the 2026 Mary Award to
Louisa Greene, the 2026 Burnett Award to
Kath Burgweger, and the 2026 Community Impact Award to
Julie DesChamps in recognition of their contributions to the Greenwich community and the LWV Greenwich. Please visit our
Awards Page to read about these inspiring women.
We look forward to celebrating with you.
